Learn to handle your tractor with confidence! In this hands-on class, you’ll gain practical experience in tractor safety, operation, and maintenance. We’ll cover essential skills like starting, maneuvering, attaching implements, basic maintenance, and understanding your machine’s limits.
Whether you’re brand new to tractors or looking to sharpen your skills, this class will help you feel capable and in control of your equipment. You’ll leave ready to tackle real-world projects safely and efficiently—because every farm girl (or guy) should know their way around a tractor.
Tractor Skills Class
Give your old clothes a second life by turning them into something warm, useful, and beautiful. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to prepare worn textiles and use a five-strand braiding technique to begin your own hand-braided rug.
We’ll talk about color choices, layout ideas, and practical tips for building a durable, long-lasting piece. You’ll head home with the materials, skills, and confidence to finish your rug—and the know-how to keep creating more on your own.
Rug Braiding Class
This is a hands-on farm workshop focused on the care of newborn lambs. Participants will learn essential skills including bottle feeding, tail docking, and basic health assessments. Ideal for anyone considering sheep ownership—or those who simply want a close-up farm experience—this workshop takes place directly in the barn. With 95 ewes on site, participants can expect plenty of opportunities to interact with lambs.
Lambing Class

Whether it’s tractor operation, fencing, wool crafts, gardening, or something entirely unique to your farm or homestead, Heidi can create a hands-on workshop just for you—or for your group.
